I'm a new player and have been enjoying myself a lot so far, but I am having a huge problem controlling my chicken/duck/rabbit populations. I started off small, 2 of each animal (Noah style), but things have quickly gotten out of hand. Every 3ish days, I check my animal pops to find like 15-20 new chickens, ducks, and rabbits.

I had about 10 animals (used a mod while creating characters) and once winter hit 8 of the origionals and 14 of their children died. Currently i have 8 and they are dying at a slow rate. i wish to keep at most 8-10 and want to know how to keep them alive during winter. (I am assuming build a hydroponic farm for them, but that will drain too much power, and I already am having power problems).
