After reading about transparent bridge mode, I have some questions. My modem can handle at most 80 Mbps but I pay for around 110 Mpbs. If I get a good router than can handle those speeds and do transparent bridge mode, will my router be able to output 110 Mpbs or will it still be bottlenecked by my modem and only hit 80 Mbps..

Basically I had to go to the WAN settings for the CenturyLink modem/router and set it to Transparent Bridging and I kept all other settings as the default. Then once I connected everything to my new router, I needed to input the PPPoe Credentials (which I got from Centurylink) and it was just a matter on setting up the router from there.
