Blessing 2 vs dusk.

UPDATE 1. Amazon had the XS on for £393 ($474) with free same day delivery so I couldn't resist. I'm a firm believer in the burn-in theory, especially so with these as it is actually recommended, so they're going into a drawer with an old mobile phone playing a radio station for a few days before I make any judgements.

This is also much smaller than the Blessing 2 / Dusk, I think it would be suitable for people with smaller ears. Nozzle is 5.7mm vs 6.5mm on the Dusk. Nozzle is quite long, and tips fit very well, I use Moondrop Spring tips for a good fit for me (also use these on the Monarch Mk2)..

IEM reviewer Crinacle collaborated with Moondrop to make the tuning of the Blessing 2 even better. This tweaked version has been released as the Blessing 2: Dusk, and has gotten even MORE acclaim than the original, with its already agreeable tuning even more suited for the masses. In fact, it's one of the most hyped audio products I've seen on ...Review/DIY - Moondrop Blessing 2 | Mod for significantly improving detailing and soundstage . DIY/Mod I´'m quite new to the world of expensive IEMs, being this purchase my introduction to this world. Among the sound equipment I have, for reference, the SHP9500, AD900X, WX1000 XM3, the 1more triple and quad, Sony MH755, AKG 400NC and Vifa Oslo ...Yeah Timeless makes Sundara sound a bit dull in comparison to my ears. Although the mids on Sundara might be a bit more revealing, the overall tonality on Timeless makes it a worthy trade-off. I think if sundara had the tonality of the timeless, I would have been done in this hobby at my first headphone.Truthear Hexa compared to the blessings 2:dusk. So looking at the graphs for the hexa it seams to me like they will be very similar with the Hexa being a more budget friendly version of the dusk. A lot of people compare the hexa to the BD 2 but I haven't seen any comparisons with the BD 2 dusk. Anyone tried both that can share some light as to ...Moondrop Blessing 2 are reference IEMs, except maybe their treble are a little low. Very safe choice, they play any genre very well. But Fiio FH7 can sound more interesting. I think they have a better sound stage, they provide better immersion. But since they lie, sometimes they can sound a little annoying.

look for cables with a 0.78mm connector. The tripowin cables are alright. Tripowin Zonie would be a great fit I think. if you want a good balanced cable that's also relatively cheap, get the Tripowin Zonie cables from Linsoul, I bought both colors and I thought that they were great. Don't waste money on those SNAKE OIL Moon Audio cables.Funny you say this because the Dusk has less bass bleed than the original B2. They didn't just increase the amount of bass, they made it so it wouldn't bleed into the midrange. It's ok to not like bass, but the B2D is clearly the superior IEM of the two in my opinion. Reply More replies. Vulcanicloud. • • Edited.TL;DR: it's more similar to the Dusk than the OG Blessing 2. it's very similar to the Dusk, with a similar bass shelf but perceptually, he finds the bass slightly less emphasized. it does do some things better, like the treble extension, but it's not a huge improvement, it's not at the level of S8. it's a very good IEM.

Timeless has more bass but Dusk is more balanced. Timeless has more issues with quality control than Dusk does. Both of them tend to have a bad fit, which can cause comfort issues. If you need one option, you would likely be better off with the Blessings 2 Dusk as it is less likely to have issues. But I am interested in trying an IEM at the similar price/performance level as Blessing 2 Dusk. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? I know audio is a personal preference. I am leaning towards Sennheiser IE 500 Pro (used) or IE 600. Reason is I have a cheap pair of Sennheiser CX 80s and I really love the audio quality.

Moondrop Blessing 2: Dusk is more balanced than then anemic-sounding ER2SE and ER4SR. I've owned a few Etymotics, but I prefer Moondrop's IEMs easily. ... So after weeks of waiting my blessing 2s are finally here. To my surprise they're not only the best sounding IEMs I own (no surprise here) but also by far the comfiest, which I didnt expect after reading about possible fitting issues with certain earshapes.Well the Dusk is much much bigger, the fit on 846 is much better IMO. The Dusk nozzle is also huge so not all ears can fit that. Soundwise though, Dusk is much better. 2. Award. bwsealirl. • 2 yr. ago. As the name Variations might imply, the Moondrop Variations is essentially a tweaked version of the immensely popular Blessing 2 Dusk, which is a tweaked version of the original Blessing 2, which is a tweaked version of the original Blessing. I would not recommend the Blessing 2 (Dusk) because the bass lacks detail and texture and the mids can sound grainy. Staging is also far behind the Variations, let alone the M9. Overall I found the B2 didn't live up to the hype for me. I did emulate the Dusk tuning with PEQ and it improved the B2, but technically it's just bottlenecked..

Objectively, the Harman tuning is excellent, with only a few minor issues. Subjectively, they "feel" more open and the vocals less colored than the B2 from the slight lower mids/high bass bloat that the B2 have. I definitely have grown to love the Harman Target. The 560s is significantly better. Hifiman sundara would be a great choice as well. Blessing 2 Dusk has decent Soundstage for an IEM, but not wider than most headphones in that price range. I feel my B2D sounds better in a lot of ways than like my HD600, or the Sundara, but Soundstage isn't one of those points.

The Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk is a set of IEMs that comes in at around 300€ and is a model that took me a while to actually decide to purchase but finally pulled the trigger after many positive reviews by people whose opinion I trust. In the box, it contains a set of ear tips, a pretty nice looking copper cable, a leather zip case and the Blessing 2 itself.TL;DR: it's more similar to the Dusk than the OG Blessing 2. it's very similar to the Dusk, with a similar bass shelf but perceptually, he finds the bass slightly less emphasized. it does do some things better, like the treble extension, but it's not a huge improvement, it's not at the level of S8. it's a very good IEM.Not every IEM will look like that with those tips though, depends on the length of the bore and stuff. My Aria's sit a lot further back inside the tip than the B2 does. But realistically, the tips matter most for a proper seal of the ear canal. Moondrop should have put a lip on the B2's shell for tips to sit.️ Variations vs Blessing 2 When the Blessings 2 first launched, some fans found the sound a bit too lean with a peaky treble that can be a bit sibilant on certain audio tracks. The Variations basically fixes all the issues that were present with the Blessings 2; giving the low end a bit more rumble and warmth while at the same time shaving off the treble …This is the official thread for the Moondrop Blessing 2 This thread is for discussion and reviews. But the lighter bass makes the Blessing 2 sound clearer in the midrange. It also has a more defined edge to the treble while the Starfield sounds "smoothed over" in comparison. Since the Starfield sounds more relaxed and warm, it kind of blends sounds together when things get busy. The Blessing 2 is able to keep up better in that regard.Late to the party, but what do(did) you think of the Dusk? I think they are a nice contrast to the ER4s, personally, and find that the SA6 is somewhere in between. I love the bass and midrange of the Dusk, and the detail and speed of the SA6. Curious to hear your impressions.

I tried the Blessing 2 and can appreciate that it is a good IEM but it isn't my thing. I prefer a warmer, denser sound with more prominent bass.Dusk can sound grainy, whereas Mk2 renders the energy perfectly with no harshness - pure bliss. Bass - the Dusk is a very good performer here, but Mk2's bass clearly outperforms it in subbass slam, speed, texture, and coherence. The DD acting as subwoofer while 2 BAs handle the mid bass makes for a superb balance of power and details in the bass.Their first breakthrough with the neutral-bright signature was in fact: Blessing 2. Though, you can make a case for S8 (which caused a bit of buzz but soon overshadowed by B2) as a neutral IEMs. After B2, Moondrop continued with the neutral-bright signature in various price points like you mentioned. plmon24.Just my thoughts on the Moondrop Blessing 2 and the Timeless.Headphones mentioned:Moondrop Blessing 2 and the Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk7HZ TimelessEtymotic ER...1. Reply. hashemfahoum14 4 Ω • 1 yr. ago. That's great to hear! The B2:Dusk has virtually no weaknesses other than nitpicking about the somewhat tame upper treble which is an extremely minor criticism to be fair. Variations is a tad more technical than the Dusk / original B2 and has better treble extension than both, but comes at nearly 200 more which honestly is a bit hard to justify.
