Jun 28, 2018 · I have a chance to buy an 1894 in 44 mag this weekend and am trying to do a little research before I commit, and am looking for some help. I am trying to figure out the year. The serial number is 10092766 which by using the code would make this a 1990 produced gun but it is JM stamped on the left side of the barrel.
